Role Description

The Security Installation Technician / Integrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Albany, NY. This role is responsible for installing, configuring, and integrating electronic security systems such as access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and related devices. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings, running and terminating cabling, mounting and programming hardware, and ensuring systems function according to design specifications and client requirements. The technician performs system testing, troubleshooting, and repairs, documents work performed, and provides user training and support to clients on installed systems. This position also collaborates with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to complete projects safely, on schedule, and in compliance with company standards and local regulations.
