Job summary

Allied Universal Technology Services in the United States is hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead electronic security installation projects, coordinating scheduling, procurement, commissioning and financial performance.

You will manage budgets and P&L, oversee vendors and subcontractors, prepare installation plans, track changes, and ensure on-time delivery within budget while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Factory certifications in relevant technology platforms is a plus (Software House, Lenel, Brivo, Open Options, Exacq, American Dynamics, Milestone, OnSSI, etc.).
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in electronic security
• Alternatively, minimum of two (2) years of related low-voltage field experience.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint)
• Ability to work independently and manage moderate to high complexity tasks
• Strong communication and relationship-building with customers and vendors

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with vendors and customers to balance time vs. profits.
• Allocate resources through project planning to meet objectives.
• Maintain knowledge of industry practices across markets.
• Manage changes in project price and installation plans, including Change Orders.
• Support invoicing and collections ensuring timely billing.
• Manage project budget and P&L.
• Prepare and implement installation plans and procedures.
• Coordinate schedules with trades and maintain records of status and material flow.
• Define project problems with financial and contract tools to ensure profitability.
• Plan and schedule engineering, installation, and subcontracting for large systems.
• Supervise installation labor and subcontractors.
• Prioritize workload to meet deadlines and quality targets.
• Troubleshoot project issues and engage management as needed.
• Develop fallback and contingency plans.
