Job summary

Minuteman Security & Life Safety is seeking a Senior Installation Technician to oversee complex security system installations and lead a team of technicians. You will provide expert support, collaborate closely with project managers and clients, and drive best practices for service quality and efficiency.

The role requires 7+ years in security system installation, leadership experience, and advanced certifications preferred. A valid driver’s license is required; on-site work in Houston area.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in security system installation.
• Experience in high-complexity and high-security environments.
• Demonstrated leadership and installation team management.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• CPP, CISSP or multiple access control certifications preferred.
• Master’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of high-end security systems or fire work.
• Provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting for complex security issues.
• Lead and mentor a team of technicians, with guidance, training, and feedback.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
• Develop and implement best practices to improve installation efficiency and service quality.
• Conduct system audits and assessments with recommendations for enhancements.
• Prepare and review technical reports, installation plans, and project documentation.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
