Job summary

Allied Universal® Technology Services in Livermore, CA is hiring a Security Installation Technician II to install, program and configure electronic security systems for commercial clients, including door access control, CCTV and intrusion detection. You will work independently and with other technicians to uphold the highest standards of quality and efficiency in all installations.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license and at least two years of hands-on experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Two+ years in physical security or low-voltage systems.
• Ability to obtain state licenses as required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and cross-system navigation.
• Strong documentation and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, program and configure electronic security systems for commercial clients, including door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, low-voltage communication, electronic locks, point sensors, signaling devices, and other security systems
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, integrate new and existing installations to ensure systems function properly and meet industry standards
• Run electrical wiring, including drilling, trenching, and aerial runs
• Connect control panels, application requirements, wire concealment and security software installation
