Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Commercial Security Installation Technician II to install, program and configure enterprise security systems including access control, CCTV, and intrusion devices. You will travel to client sites, supervise junior technicians, and ensure systems meet contract requirements while maintaining safety and code standards.

You will need 2–3 years of field experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain state licensing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years in physical security, fire alarm or low voltage installation.
• Ability to obtain state licensing (Low Voltage D, Alarm Installer).
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills; meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.
• On-call rotation and driving to client sites required.

Responsibilities

• Install, program and configure commercial security systems for enterprise clients.
• Troubleshoot new installations to ensure proper operation and code compliance.
• Supervise junior technicians on a job as assigned by Installation Manager.
• Drive to client sites with company vehicle to perform installations and verify system operation.
• Run electrical wiring, drill, trench, and manage wiring concealment.
• Connect panels, install security software, and complete site tasks.
