The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering, experience with CrowdStrike Falcon, and knowledge of ISO 27001, SOX, CMMC, or DFARS.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Experience deploying CrowdStrike Falcon or comparable endpoint security technology.
• Practical knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and incident investigation.
• At least two years working with ISO 27001, SOX, CMMC, or DFARS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain security technologies across endpoints, networks, and shared infrastructure.
• Improve threat visibility through centralized logging, SIEM capabilities, and actionable security alerts.
• Investigate potential incidents, contain threats, identify root causes, and implement improvements to reduce repeat events.
• Run vulnerability assessments, validate findings, and coordinate with infra and app teams to address weaknesses and patches.
• Manage and improve controls such as endpoint protection, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and DLP.
• Help teams securely introduce new systems, connect environments, and update infrastructure.
• Translate security requirements into practical configurations, procedures, and safeguards.
• Assess risks to sensitive information and improve data access/handling/protection.
• Maintain documentation on configurations, procedures, incident response, and investigations.
• Review emerging threats and vendor advisories to decide action.
• Support security awareness, phishing, and social engineering education.
