Job summary

Xcel Energy seeks a Senior Security Governance and Controls Analyst to drive the security governance program, policies, standards, and metrics across the company, partnering with security and business units to ensure effective controls and continuous improvement. The role leads policy lifecycle reviews, control testing, training, and regulatory liaison for frameworks such as NERC CIP, DHS TSA, and SOX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 4+ years in security/IT/OT.
• Three years of experience with control testing, security standards, or risk management.
• 1 year in a regulated GRC environment may substitute for up to 18 months.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of policy and compliance governance program.
• Execute security policy/standards lifecycle and update cycles.
• Develop metrics and reporting for leadership and business units.
• Lead training and awareness of the ESEM governance program.
