Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking a Senior Security Governance and Controls Analyst to drive the security governance program and enhance controls and policies across the organization.

You will partner with multiple business units to implement standards, perform control testing, and monitor regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes continuous improvement and effective communication of risk and controls to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in security/IT/OT fields.
• 3+ years in control testing, security standards/policy implementation, audits or risk mgmt.
• 1 year in a GRC function in a highly regulated environment may substitute for 18 months experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of security governance policies and standards.
• Oversee security controls assessment, self-assessments, and gap identification.
• Develop metrics and reporting for leadership and business units.
