Job summary

C. Mack Solutions is seeking a senior software developer/architect to lead the security implementation across our infrastructure, primarily in the application layer.

You will guide cross-functional teams through the development lifecycle and communicate complex security concepts clearly. The role requires 10+ years of hands-on Java/Python/Angular experience, expertise in security protocols, and strong AWS/microservices background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and over 10 years of hands-on software development experience in Java/Python/Angular.
• Experience building Java Spring Boot applications.
• Proven expertise implementing security protocols TLS/SSL, IPsec, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, HTTPS.
• Solid grasp of Zero Trust security concepts and practical implementation approaches.
• Extensive experience with AWS services and security tools (IAM, VPC, CloudTrail).
• Strong background in microservices and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Track record of integrating security checks into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and deploy comprehensive security measures across the software lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain security architecture and policies for AWS-based microservices.
• Scale security solutions across diverse development teams and apps.
• Analyze code scan outputs and collaborate with compliance teams to improve scans.
• Embed security checks within CI/CD workflows and source control pipelines.
• Perform vulnerability scans and penetration tests to address weaknesses.
• Promote secure development practices across Java, Python, and Angular.
