Job summary

Vercel is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (IC4) with a strong security background to sit fully embedded inside the v0 team in San Francisco. You will own security end-to-end for everything v0 ships, from finding vulnerabilities to shipping security features, and you’ll help shape the threat model and sandbox boundaries.

You’ll partner with product security, review every new feature before it goes live, triage HackerOne reports, and act as the security conscience of a fast-moving team while

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and shipping production web applications.
• Strong understanding of authN/authZ, sandboxing, and injection security.
• Ability to own security end-to-end and influence through code.

Responsibilities

• Find and fix vulnerabilities across v0, and ship fixes.
• Build security features directly into the product (sandboxing, isolation, abuse detection).
• Review all new v0 features and launches before release.
• Own HackerOne relationship for v0 and coordinate with researchers.
• Own the v0 threat model and refine sandbox/runtime isolation strategies.
• Harden code execution boundaries before touching real infrastructure.
• Create guardrails and reusable patterns to ship capabilities quickly.
• Partner with central Product Security and share threat learnings.
