Job summary

Google in Kirkland, WA seeks a Senior Security Engineer to defend Workspace accounts and Google Cloud environments. You will shape the technical strategy, drive threat modeling, and lead in-depth analyses against evolving threats, collaborating with product and threat intelligence teams.

You will architect and deploy customer-facing agentic systems to empower users to defend their environments, mentor junior engineers, and partner across security, engineering, and product teams to scale defenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of security assessments, design reviews, or threat modeling.
• 5 years in security engineering and security protocols.
• 5 years of coding experience in general-purpose languages.
• 1 year of technical leadership or risk analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive Technical Strategy and Threat Modeling for Workspace account security.
• Lead vulnerability research and adversarial simulation to expose novel techniques.
• Build agentic defense systems to autonomously detect and mitigate threats.
• Co-Develop customer-facing security tools for Workspace and Google Cloud.
• Lead incident mitigation with product engineering teams.
