Job summary

Supernova Technology seeks a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer to protect our fintech platform and enterprise environment. You will lead threat hunts, detection engineering, and incident response across endpoints, cloud, and network environments.

You will design and own security technologies end-to-end, strengthen controls, and collaborate with engineering and IT teams. Strong automation and risk-based decision-making are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security engineering, threat hunting, detection engineering, security operations, incident response, or infrastructure security.
• Proven ability to independently lead complex technical projects end-to-end.
• Hands-on experience with security platforms (SIEM/EDR/IDS/IPS) and threat hunting across telemetry.
• Strong knowledge of attacker TTPs, IR processes, and MITRE ATT&CK.

Responsibilities

• Threat hunting, detection engineering, and incident response across endpoints, identity, network, cloud, and SaaS.
• Design, deploy, and own security technologies end-to-end (SIEM, EDR/XDR, firewalls, WAF, vuln mgmt, email/identity security).
• Lead vulnerability management, IR playbooks, and lessons learned for risk reduction.
• Automate workflows with Python/PowerShell and monitor security metrics to drive improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, legal, and business teams; mentor teammates.
