Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Wyoming, MI, and Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead SecOps threat hunting, detection engineering, and security automation. You will design secure architectures, maintain SIEM/SOAR pipelines, and mentor analysts in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.

The role requires strong Linux/Windows security, IaC, Python/PowerShell skills, and a bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 5–8 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or CCSP are preferred.
• Proficiency with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and cloud security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop security strategy and lead SecOps initiatives.
• Lead threat hunting across multiple platforms and cloud environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures and SIEM/SOAR pipelines.
• Act as Tier 2 escalation point; mentor Security Analysts.
• Design detections in vendor-neutral languages; validate controls.
• Develop and maintain IaC and automation scripts for security workspaces.
