Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• Five to eight years of related experience or equivalent.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or CCSP are preferred.
• Proficiency with Enterprise SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and NDR platforms.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
• Experience writing custom detection logic, complex queries, and log normalization.
• Strong IT infrastructure knowledge: Windows, Linux, IAM, and Enterprise Networking.
• Experience with Python/PowerShell/Bash scripting and threat intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Lead SecOps threat hunting across multiple platforms and environments.
• Design, build, and tune detections to reduce false positives while maintaining strong posture.
• Maintain SIEM/SOAR ecosystems and data pipelines; collaborate on security tech selections.
• Act as Tier 2 escalation point; mentor security analysts; participate in incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Develop automation via IaC and CI/CD; integrate AI workflows into SecOps pipelines.
