Highmark Health is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our Enterprise Application Security team and help embed security into the software development lifecycle. This is a high-impact engineering role focused on shift-left security, preventing vulnerabilities before they occur, and building secure AI-enabled development workflows.

You will work closely with engineering to enforce guardrails, automate security gates, and drive remediation of critical and high findings before production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or closely related field.
• 7+ years in information security and risk management.
• Experience with secure SDLC and secure development practices.

Responsabilités

• Lead teams to define requirements, deliverables and timeframes.
• Develop and implement secure SDLC practices and governance.
• Mentor staff and deliver technical training in complex areas.
• Complete projects on time, within budget and scope.
• Implement, monitor, configure, and maintain security systems.
• Ensure compliance with standards and processes.
