Job summary

Flex is hiring its first security engineers to protect the money paths—ledger, card issuing, payouts, and stablecoin work. You will build security by design, automate checks, and drive risk decisions with the CTO.

You’ll own security across existing and new systems, scaling with fast velocity while maintaining rigorous controls. You’ll report to leadership, partner with Engineering, IT, Risk, and Compliance, and shape the secure foundation for a company moving fast in fintech.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering ability in a language you'd ship (Python, Go, TypeScript, or similar).
• Hands-on cloud infrastructure experience: AWS or GCP, Terraform or equivalent IaC, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Threat model the paths that move money and the systems that matter most.
• Build secure-by-default infrastructure with IaC guardrails and CI/CD security controls.
• Own application security across new and existing systems and build automated checks.
