Ripple is seeking a Senior Staff Security Engineer to lead security across Treasury platforms in a high-stakes FinTech environment. You will own threat modeling, secure software delivery, and cloud security architecture while mentoring engineers and expanding security champions.

Qualifications

10+ years in Security Engineering with product and infrastructure focus.
Expert-level threat modeling, security reviews, and secure architecture.
Cloud security across Azure/AWS/GCP including IAM and network security.

Responsibilities

Own security posture for Treasury product and infrastructure from assessment to remediation.
Lead threat modeling and security reviews across Treasury offerings.
Define secure SDLC and CI/CD guardrails with developer guidance.
Drive cloud security architecture across Azure and AWS for Treasury.
Collaborate with GRC to meet SOC 2, ISO 27001 and regulatory frameworks.
Oversee vulnerability discovery, triage, remediation, and automation-focused fixes.
Scale Security Champions within Treasury Engineering and mentor engineers.
Influence senior engineering decisions and raise security concerns.
Stay ahead of FinTech/crypto threat landscape and translate into defenses.
