Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to serve as the embedded security lead on Customer Service initiatives. You will own security assurance from ideation through launch, shaping guardrails and secure-by-default patterns that prevent vulnerabilities at scale.

You will mentor engineers, review designs for security, and help set long-term security strategy across development teams, contributing to a strong security culture throughout the organization.

Formación

• 5+ years identifying security issues and developing mitigation plans.
• 4+ years scripting, programming, and security code review.
• Experience mentoring, tech lead roles or leading an engineering team.
• Knowledge of threat modeling or risk identification techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the senior security engineer on large, complex initiatives across Customer Service.
• Design automated guardrails and secure-by-default patterns to remove vulnerabilities.
• Address ambiguous security problems with clear business-driven strategies.
• Shift reviews to continuous security assurance with automated assessments.
• Review designs and code to ensure security, extensibility and adoption.
• Grow the team through mentoring and hiring activities.
