Job summary

Mirantis is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Security) to design and build enterprise-grade secrets management and PKI across its infrastructure. This role emphasizes robust, scalable security of credentials, certificates, and cryptographic assets in a modern cloud environment.

You will design, implement, and operate secrets management platforms (Vault/AWS/Azure) and PKI systems, ensuring integration with IAM, automation, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on infrastructure and security systems.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with secrets management platforms (Vault / AWS / Azure).
• Strong PKI, certificate management, and X.509 knowledge.
• Proficiency in cryptographic concepts, encryption and secure key management.
• Experience with HSMs and cryptographic hardware.
• Proficient in Go, Python, Java, or C++.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-grade secrets management across Mirantis infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain PKI systems including certificate lifecycle management.
• Architect secure credential rotation mechanisms and automated provisioning workflows.
