Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with infrastructure and security systems.
• 3+ years with secrets management platforms (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault, or equivalent).
• Strong PKI, certificate management, and X.509 knowledge.
• Proficiency in cryptography, encryption protocols, and secure key management.
• Experience with HSMs and cryptographic hardware integration.
• Go, Python, Java, or C++ proficiency.
• IAM principles and practices.
• Infrastructure-as-code and automation experience.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-grade secrets management solutions across the org.
• Develop and maintain PKI systems including certificate lifecycle management.
• Architect secure credential rotation and automated provisioning workflows.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and applications teams.
• Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments of secrets and PKI.
• Create comprehensive documentation, runbooks, and best practices guides.
• Troubleshoot certificate management, key storage, and access issues.
• Stay current with emerging threats, cryptographic standards, and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote security-focused engineering practices.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security policies.
