Qualifications

• 5+ years of security engineering experience in SaaS/fintech space.
• Production Go engineering experience building services or security systems.
• Experience with detection engineering and incident response (SIEM or detection-as-code).
• Cloud and Kubernetes security experience including GCP; familiarity with OAuth, SAML, OIDC, WebAuthn.
• Collaborative with engineering teams; startup/0-to-1 experience is a plus.
• Identity and access management or enterprise security software exposure.

Responsibilities

• Own security across the product and company, partnering with engineering throughout development.
• Build security systems including secrets management, certificate infra, audit logs, vulnerability management.
• Lead security reviews, threat modeling, and secure design consultations with engineering teams.
• Drive compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA) from an engineering perspective.
• Develop detection and incident response capabilities, including triage and response processes.
• Contribute across product security, corporate security, and compliance, with scope to grow the function.
