Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to onsite in Reston, Virginia, supporting RMF and security assessments. You will develop security plans, assess controls, and produce remediation guidance while working with system owners and IT teams.

The role requires a BS degree and 4 years of relevant experience, with a focus on NIST RMF, A&A, and documentation. This is a full-time, on-site position at the client location in Reston, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system documentation.
• Strong understanding of NIST A&A/RMF guidelines and industry best practices.
• Information Assurance or Security certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop security assessment plans and document results in a Security Assessment Report.
• Create POA&M reports with weaknesses and remediation actions.
• Provide multi-discipline security support to the IA RMF and Continuous Monitoring Programs.
• Develop security authorization packages for newly developed systems.
• Coordinate all aspects of the assessment effort with identified points of contact.
• Collaborate with system owners, security officers, developers, and IT operations personnel on system security categorizations.
• Develop initial system security plans and contingency plans aligned with policies.
• Provide recommendations for remediation and security engineering principles.
