Job summary

Iceberg is seeking a seriously good Security Engineer who can dive into a large Linux and compute infrastructure and actually engineer security solutions, not just operate tools.

You’ll come from infrastructure security or DevSecOps, with strong programming/scripting ability and a breadth of security knowledge. The role covers hybrid onsite work across NYC, Pittsburgh, and Durham, with a generous compensation package.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of engineering security solutions in a large Linux environment.
• Strong programming or scripting ability for automation and tooling.
• Breadth across security domains, not limited to one silo.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls across complex Linux infra.
• Identify security gaps in compute clusters and propose engineering fixes.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to secure workloads and data.
• Lead by example in practical security engineering rather than just tool administration.
