Job summary

Glia is seeking a Senior Security Engineer who will lead the DevSec team while starting as a hands-on contributor. You’ll own security programs across application, infrastructure, supply chain, and compliance surfaces, then mentor engineers and drive security culture.

The role is remote-first with Europe-wide hiring, and you will collaborate closely with the Platform and Infrastructure groups to secure Glia’s Banking AI platform.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in at least two security domains and literacy across the rest.
• Built or scaled a security program end-to-end in low-structure environments.
• Coding and automation ability (Python) and cloud security depth (AWS).
• Experience with AI-assisted development and securing it: LLM tooling (e.g. MCP).
• Leadership readiness with mentoring or lead experience and commitment to DevSec Team Lead role.
• Located in Europe.

Responsibilities

• Delivery & roadmap: own security programs end-to-end, prioritize by risk.
• People & mentorship: run 1:1s and grow the team.
• Hands-on contribution: lead by example in security engineering.
• Security across surface: app, infra, data, endpoints, and compliance interfaces.
• Mentor engineers and conduct blameless post-mortems.
