Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to strengthen our security posture across infrastructure, cloud, and applications. You will collaborate with multiple teams, review designs for security, and automate security workflows with Python.

The role requires hands-on Kubernetes and container security, scripting expertise, and experience with vulnerability management and security compliance programs. Travel is minimal; excellent benefits package included.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of security engineering experience focusing on infrastructure, application and cloud security.
• Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes and container platforms in production.
• Proficient in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Terraform or similar).
• Experience with network security and monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with CIS, NIST, OWASP security practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams to promote security controls and conduct architectural reviews.
• Review designs to assess security posture and advise on threat modeling.
• Develop automation to integrate systems and improve security tooling.
• Lead vulnerability scanning across environments (network, containers, cloud).
• Support compliance initiatives (HiTrust, ISO 27001) from security perspective.
