Job summary

Echelon Risk + Cyber is seeking aSenior Security Engineer in the United States to design and enforce security policies, conduct assessments, and build secure cloud solutions on Azure and AWS. You will implement IAM, DLP, SIEM, and CSPM tools while guiding remediation, disaster recovery, and incident response with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has MSP/MSSP experience, strong security frameworks knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Experience in managed IT or Security services (MSP/MSSP) handling multiple clients.
• Strong understanding of security technologies and frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures based on industry standards.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance.
• Design and implement secure cloud solutions (Azure and AWS).
• Utilize CSPM technologies and manage IAM/SO and PAM as required.
• Ensure security of SaaS platforms, servers, endpoints, and MDM policies.
• Perform vulnerability scans and automated penetration tests with remediation plans.
• Develop backups, disaster recovery plans, and recovery tests.
• Configure network security, firewalls, and incident response plans.
• Lead data protection efforts including DLP and SIEM implementations.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to embed security into IT.
