Job summary

Kontoor Brands, Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise security across vulnerability management, cloud security, identity, endpoint, and application security.

This role partners with infrastructure, apps, network, cloud, and security teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions and mentors other engineers. The role emphasizes automation, governance, and security metrics, with a focus on reducing manual effort and improving operation maturity,

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in information security and security engineering with hands-on ownership of initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with Zscaler, Microsoft security tools, Tenable and Wiz.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain scripts, workflows, and automation solutions.
• Hands-on experience applying agentic AI tooling in real-world security workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, implement, and support security engineering projects from requirements through handoff and ongoing support.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, network, cloud, and security teams to deliver secure solutions.
• Evaluate trends and translate into practical improvements to security capabilities and risk reduction.
• Own security documentation, metrics definitions, and governance expectations for clear leadership visibility.
• Provide design reviews and guidance for security initiatives led by other teams.
• Lead root-cause analysis for complex platform issues and drive lasting fixes.
• Drive automation and AI tooling to improve efficiency and security operations.
