Job summary

Orkes is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to build the security foundation for its multi-cloud control plane and customer-hosted deployments in the Santa Clara, CA area. You will own the security roadmap and implement guardrails across IAM, RBAC, secure agent-tool integration, and production-grade security features integrated into the SDLC.

The role emphasizes hands-on delivery, with responsibilities spanning threat modeling, security testing in CI/CD (SAST/DAST/SCA), and handling Penetration

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in security engineering and delivery.
• Ships fixes and platform guardrails in production code (Java/Python/TS).
• Owns the security roadmap and translates threat landscape into a program.
• First responder for Penetration testing, security audits, CVEs.
• Multi-cloud security architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP + self-hosted).
• RBAC/authZ design across product and platform.
• Experience with security testing in CI/CD (SAST/DAST/SCA).
• AI-coding experience to guide AI decisions with guardrails.
