About the team + role

The Robinhood Credit and Money Security team’s mission is to protect Robinhood and its customers while empowering the organization to achieve its business goals securely and efficiently. As a Senior Security Engineer, you will collaborate with business and engineering teams to understand and secure Robinhood Credit and Money products and services.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct security reviews of new and existing products, recommending remediation strategies.
2. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure security requirements are met.
3. Research emerging threats and recommend security enhancements.
4. Develop expertise within the supported business areas.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of system and application architecture to identify vulnerabilities.
• Experience in facilitating code reviews and analyzing SAST/DAST reports.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and their security challenges.
• Ability to think like an offensive engineer, applying blue team methodologies.
• Data-driven storytelling skills to communicate security risk maturity.
