Job summary

ConductorOne, Inc. is hiring a Senior Security Engineer to join a small, early-stage security team. You will build purpose-built agents and automation to embed security into the development lifecycle using a risk-based approach, primarily with Go and AWS.

You will shift security left, lead threat modeling, and collaborate with engineering to remediate critical threats and define API security standards. This hands-on role emphasizes practical security engineering and scalable tooling.

Qualifications

• Proven experience securing enterprise SaaS applications.
• Hands-on code review experience, ideally in Go, Python, or Rust.
• Experience securing deployment and change-management mechanisms for software and infrastructure.
• Background in Software/Platform/Security Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive security standards and secure-by-default solutions for applications and cloud.
• Build agents and skills to automate security tasks across the development lifecycle.
• Bake risk-based review into design specs and architecture decisions.
• Build tooling and automation to scale security practices and enhance observability and detection.
• Lead threat modeling and risk assessment for high-risk features and platform changes.
• Partner with engineering to remediate critical threats and define API security standards.
