Job summary

Amazon Leo Infrastructure and IP Security seeks a senior security engineer to own security for the platform that underpins a global satellite constellation. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or 5+ years scripting, programming, or security code review in a common language (Python, Java, C++).
• 2+ years of threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, and related security work.
• Experience with offensive security, including penetration testing, red teaming, or adversarial testing of production systems.
• Experience architecting, securing, and operating AWS solutions.

Responsibilities

• Be the single accountable security owner for Leo Infrastructure and IP Security platforms and workflows.
• Lead threat modeling and secure-design reviews for systems before automation and autonomous actions.
• Translate threat intelligence into adversary behaviors to drive detections, guardrails, and controls.
• Drive findings to closure with security gates integrated into delivery cadence.
