Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a senior security engineer to join the founding Engineering and R&D cohort for Leo Infrastructure and IP Security. You will own security across the agent platform and data plane, driving threat modeling, secure design reviews, and adversary emulation to harden the system before autonomous actions.

This hands-on role requires deep offensive security expertise, experience with AI-driven security, and the ability to scale security testing across complex, global infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or 5+ years of scripting, programming, or security review in a common language (Python, Java, C++).
• Experience architecting, securing, and operating AWS environments.
• 5+ years of non-internship experience in troubleshooting, logs, automation, and mitigation planning.

Responsibilities

• Be the single accountable security owner for all Leo Infrastructure and IP Security systems.
• Lead threat modeling and secure-design reviews for autonomous systems.
• Translate threat intelligence into detections, guardrails, and controls; drive findings to closure.
