Wave Mobile Money is seeking an experienced security engineer to secure our AI-enabled financial services platform across multiple regions. You will lead efforts in application security, governance for AI tools, and threat modeling to protect user data and ensure compliant operations.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement secure patterns, build AI governance standards, and drive secure software delivery at scale while balancing velocity with risk management.

Qualifikationen

• 7-8 years of professional experience with 3-5 years in a security-related role.
• Strong Experience with Python.
• Fluent English.
• Interest in balancing security and velocity.
• Experience securing agentic AI systems and applying governance for AI usage.

Aufgaben

• Lead application security with product teams to enhance security posture.
• Define and enforce guardrails for AI-powered tooling and data security.
• Design SIEM/SecOps pipelines for AI-driven triage, alerting, and response.
• Secure MCP integrations against prompt injection, tool misuse, and credential exposure.
• Tune and maintain code security review agents tailored to Wave's codebase and threat model.
• Develop internal AI governance standards covering acceptable use, data handling and audit requirements.
• Centralise application-level login and privileged access management.
• Improve secrets management with ephemeral secrets and tighter access scopes.
• Security review of public-facing APIs.
• Own security projects from planning to delivery.
