Job summary

Green Key Resources is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to lead cybersecurity initiatives in a dynamic financial services environment. You will design, implement, and maintain enterprise security controls across cloud, network, endpoint, and identity domains, and guide incident response and threat detection engineering.

The role requires 7+ years in cybersecurity, with strong knowledge of SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management, and preferred CISSP/CCSP/CISM certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field.
• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience including security engineering and architecture.
• Experience with enterprise security technologies across cloud, network, endpoint, and identity domains.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM, EDR/EPS, and vulnerability scanners.
• Proficiency in securing cloud environments (Azure, Microsoft 365).
• Experience in regulated industries such as financial services.
• Preferred CISSP, CCSP, or CISM certifications.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen security posture and support regulatory and audit requirements.
• Design and implement enterprise security solutions across cloud, network, endpoint, and identity domains.
• Contribute to strategic security initiatives, enhancing operational effectiveness and protecting organizational assets.
• Utilize expertise in ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and CIS Controls to align security frameworks.

Senior Security Engineer Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, including security engineering and architecture.
• Experience with enterprise security technologies across cloud, network, endpoint, and identity domains.
• Strong knowledge of security tools, including SIEM, EDR/EPS, and vulnerability scanners.
• Proficiency in securing cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS technologies.
• Experience supporting security programs within regulated industries such as financial services.
• Preferred certifications include CISSP, CCSP, or CISM.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence security outcomes.
