Cogent Infotech is recruiting for Lead and Senior Security Engineers for a fast-growing healthcare AI company to help build secure, enterprise-grade applications that transform medical workflows. You'll work across the full software development lifecycle, establishing security standards and protecting against current and emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities

Define and implement secure coding standards across engineering teams

Conduct architectural reviews and threat modeling assessments

Integrate automated security tools (SAST/DAST/RASP/SCA) into CI/CD pipelines

Lead security vulnerability triage and remediation efforts

Research and evaluate security solutions (build vs. buy decisions)

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including ML and platform engineering

Required Qualifications

7+ years software engineering experience with several years in cybersecurity

Deep expertise across multiple stack levels (application, infrastructure, data)

Experience with regulated environments and compliance frameworks (SOC2, HITRUST)

Strong knowledge of modern security practices for cloud-native applications

Hands-on experience with security testing and vulnerability assessment

Excellent communication and mentoring skills
