Job Overview

Design, build and maintain software solutions that enable internal teams to interact with cloud resources and applications securely. Create applications and tools that provide actionable security items as well as tools for other Relativity engineers to easily produce secure software. Advise engineering teams on the design and implementation of a secure SDLC for the products they own.

Administer our FedRAMP cloud environment by managing access and enforcing secure configuration.

Due to specific customer contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate be a U.S. citizen. As a condition of your role supporting the RelativityOne Government product, you are required to obtain a Public Trust clearance. The process for obtaining the Public Trust clearance will be handled by the federal government and could include additional background screening regarding criminal history, drug use, financial records, and a character assessment. If you are unable to obtain the Public Trust clearance, you will be unable to work on the RelativityOne Government product, and your employment, if still in effect, may be terminated.

Job Description and Requirements

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Design & build security products to establish best in class cloud security.
  2. Internalize software development best practices.
  3. Give guidance on secure operations in a cloud environment.
  4. Reduce technical debt through automation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Must be a U.S. Citizen that has and/or will maintain a U.S. Government minimum Public Trust security clearance.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  3. 4+ years of professional experience in software development (programming languages such as C#, Python, or Java). Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
  4. Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
  5. Experience with DevSecOps practices and automation tools (e.g., GitHub Actions).
  6. Ability to take feedback and strive for continual improvement.
  7. Eager to learn and grow across multiple levels of the stack (both in software engineering and security areas).

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Active U.S. Government security clearance.
  2. Proven ability to design and implement security solutions for cloud-native applications.
  3. Extensive understanding of secure networking principles and practices in the cloud.
  4. Experience with modern vulnerability scanning tools and threat protection solutions.
  5. Relevant certifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300)
  • Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect (SC-100)
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and their application in cloud security.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.

    This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.

    The expected salary range for this role is between $130,000 and $195,000.

    The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
