Job summary

Control Risks is seeking a seasoned security design consultant to join our Americas team. The role focuses on early-stage risk-based security strategies, master planning, and high-level security design across multiple U.S. locations.

The successful candidate will deliver consultancy, develop performance specifications, and work with engineers and clients to define scope, pricing, and project budgets. A bachelor’s degree and security certifications are preferred, with up to 50% travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in risk management, design, or related security; professional certification preferred.
• Experience delivering consultancy-based engagements and managing budgets and projects.
• Strong writing and presentation skills; ability to engage in speaking engagements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fee-earning consultancy across risk assessment, security strategies, master planning, and design.
• Assist with technical security reviews, audits, surveys, inspections, and client site work.
• Design physical and electronic security systems with engineers; support innovative approaches.
• Create proposals and build project budgets; manage forecasting, planning, and financial reporting.
• Contribute to performance management and act as a thought leader across the business.
