Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Principal Delivery Consultant - Security for the WWPS ProServe Security team in Herndon, VA.

The role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing secure AWS solutions, guiding customers through cloud migrations, and ensuring best practices. The ideal candidate has extensive cloud architecture experience, strong governance and risk management skills, and the ability to lead large-scale enterprise IT projects while advising customers on evolving security

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
• Experience managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects.
• Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA, etc.).
• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
• Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
• Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts
