Job summary

Chenega MIOS in Arlington, VA seeks a Security Control Assessor to support A&A activities, risk management, and continuous monitoring. You will develop SAP/SAR/SAP plans, advise on RMF controls, and collaborate with DoD stakeholders to ensure timely assessments and authorizations.

The role requires DS-level security expertise, TS clearance with SCI eligibility, and a proven track record in security assessments and cloud/edition processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required; 2+ years with Associate's degree; or 4+ years with high school diploma.
• 5+ years relevant experience in security.
• DOD 8140 IAM Level II (CAP, CASP, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO) required.
• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Advise A&A Manager on impact levels for CIA triad.
• Develop SAP for each package assessment.
• Ensure assessments are completed and delivered on target date.
• Initiate POA&M with weaknesses and deadlines.
• Evaluate documentation and provide recommendations for security authorization.
• Assess changes to IS and environment affecting authorization.
• Serve as cybersecurity advisor to A&A Manager.
• Develop monitoring strategy conforming to DoD frameworks.
• Document risk levels for noncompliant controls and overall risk.
