Job summary

RiVidium Inc. is seeking a Security Control Assessor (SCA) - Level II / Journeyman to support federal cybersecurity assessment, authorization, compliance, and risk management activities.

The role emphasizes RMF proficiency, security control assessments, and documentation of findings while collaborating with ISSOs, system owners, engineers, and government stakeholders to mitigate risk. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a cybersecurity-related field or IT.
• Experience performing security control assessments and related cybersecurity activities.
• Familiarity with RMF and NIST SP 800-53 controls.
• Ability to develop assessment reports, findings, and remediation recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security control assessments in accordance with federal requirements.
• Assess design, implementation and operating effectiveness of controls.
• Review system security documentation and assessment evidence.
• Develop and execute assessment plans and testing activities.
• Document findings and provide remediation recommendations.
• Maintain SARs and POA&Ms; support RMF activities throughout the lifecycle.
