Job summary

AutoCrib in Tustin, California is seeking a hands-on Senior Security & Infrastructure Engineer to own and mature the organization's cybersecurity program while supporting the security, reliability, and compliance of our mission-critical SaaS platform and corporate infrastructure.

You will partner with Engineering, DevOps, and IT teams to reduce risk while enabling business growth, leading security operations, vulnerability management, incident response, and cloud security governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in cybersecurity, IT, CS, engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Infrastructure Security, or a related field.
• Experience administering SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management platforms.
• Experience leading or participating in incident response investigations.
• Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and security architecture.
• Experience securing Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and virtualized environments.
• Experience managing cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management and risk mitigation practices.
• Experience with NIST Cybersecurity Framework and related security controls.
• Experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Strong written, verbal, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Security Operations & Monitoring: Own security tools, monitor alerts, and maintain dashboards.
• Vulnerability & Risk Management: Own vulnerability program and remediation tracking.
• Incident Response & Security Engineering: Lead response activities and develop playbooks.
• Infrastructure & Platform Security: Harden servers, networks, and apps.
• Cloud Security: Secure Azure and 365 environments and govern cloud controls.
• Identity & Access Management: Manage Active Directory and Entra ID with least-privilege access.
• Compliance & Governance: Align with NIST, FedRAMP, CMMC, FISMA and related frameworks.
• Customer & Vendor Security: Review third-party security and customer questionnaires.
• Automation & Continuous Improvement: Develop scripts to automate security tasks.
