Job summary

SNI Companies seeks a Software Developer – Security Automation to support mission-critical aerospace and defense initiatives. You will develop and automate software using Python, build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and implement infrastructure automation with Ansible and Terraform.

The role requires active DoD TS/SCI clearance, strong Linux administration, and web/API development experience within a classified environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering or related experience.
• 10+ years of experience with security automation technologies.
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.
• Strong hands-on Python coding and software development.
• Experience implementing and supporting GitLab CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and Terraform.
• Experience with UI, Web, and API development.
• Excellent software development, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a classified aerospace/defense environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, integrate, and maintain software applications and automation solutions.
• Develop robust automation tools and applications using Python.
• Build, maintain, and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement infrastructure and security automation using Ansible and Terraform.
• Develop and integrate web applications, user interfaces, and APIs.
• Perform Linux administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and automation.
• Collaborate with software, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, infrastructure, and mission teams.
• Support secure and scalable software solutions for mission-critical aerospace and defense applications.
• Participate in software development, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation activities.
