Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Senior Security Automation Engineer to drive automation of security controls across our software development lifecycle. You will design and maintain automated testing and monitoring workflows to detect threats and enforce robust defenses in scalable systems.

You will collaborate with engineering teams on threat modeling, vulnerability management, and secure SDLC, ensuring IAM, encryption, and cloud/container security are embedded.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering or Security Automation.
• Proficiency in Python for building automation workflows.
• Experience with threat modeling and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of cloud and container security, IAM, and encryption.
• Advanced English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated security testing and monitoring workflows to streamline threat detection and response.
• Perform threat modeling and security architecture assessments to proactively identify and mitigate infrastructure risks.
• Oversee vulnerability management processes and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure a secure SDLC.
• Implement and optimize platform security measures, including identity management and encryption standards.
• Develop automated systems to detect, triage, and respond to security incidents and compliance anomalies in real time.

Senior Security Automation Engineer at BairesDev

As a Senior Security Automation Engineer, you will drive the integration of security controls and threat modeling into our engineering ecosystem. You will act as a key driver for automating security workflows, ensuring that scalable defenses and robust monitoring are embedded throughout the development lifecycle.

What You'll Do:
