Job summary

Lockheed Martin seeks a security specialist to support the industrial security office, ensuring clearance for employees and accurate ID/record handling. You will process access requests, maintain key records, and coordinate visit authorizations for restricted areas.

Role requires DoD/ICA compliance knowledge, and the ability to verify data, interview personnel, and liaise with agencies as needed. This is a full-time position based in Orlando, FL.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance (Interim Secret required to start).
• High School diploma or equivalent with specialized training or demonstrated ability.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II baseline certification required (list includes CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP).
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Obtain security clearance for employees and manage access control to restricted areas.
• Process employee identification cards and records; maintain lock and key records.
• Arrange visit authorizations for employees and others.
• Interview employees to verify data and complete personnel security questionnaires and related documents.
• Verify proper level of access and contact relevant agencies for clearance/visit requests.
