Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners is seeking a Security Architect / Risk & Compliance Lead for a large-scale enterprise HR transformation project based in Boston, MA. This contract role covers cloud and application security, IAM, SSO/MFA, and security governance across SaaS platforms.

You will work with technical leadership and business stakeholders to translate complex security requirements into practical controls and processes, ensuring a secure cloud transition and robust incident response planning.

Qualifications

9+ years IT design and implementation experience across infrastructure, networks, or applications.
5+ years security architecture, design, and implementation experience.
Experience architecting and implementing cloud-based security solutions.
Strong understanding of information security risk concepts, controls, and risk assessment methodologies.
Experience developing and documenting security architecture, security plans, policies, processes, and standards.

Responsibilities

Lead security architecture and implement controls across cloud and on-prem environments.
Collaborate with leadership, vendors, systems integrators, and security teams.
Define security policies, processes and standards for enterprise systems.
Support incident response, disaster recovery, and security governance activities.
Participate in audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance.
