Job summary

LeoForce seeks a Senior Security Architect in Seal Beach, CA to lead security design for IT systems and cloud services. You will set baselines, define secure configurations, and mentor staff for robust SDLC security practices.

The role requires 10+ years of security and system administration experience, a CS-related degree, and security certifications; cloud (Azure) and IaC experience are preferred. Competitive benefits and a challenging environment offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of applicable security and system administration experience.
• Security Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, GCIH, CEH preferred.

Responsibilities

• Researches, designs, plans and advocates for the security architecture for IT systems.
• Develops, reviews, and determines installation security requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and related network devices.
• Defines baseline security configuration standards for operating systems, network segmentation, and cloud services.
• Determines security protocols by evaluating business strategies and requirements.
• Responds to and investigates security incidents and provides post-event analysis.
• Reviews system security measures and remediates deficiencies with stakeholders.
• Conducts regular testing and monitoring of network security.
• Serves as primary resource for SDLC security practices.
• Researches and guides IT and Bank Security staff; mentors where needed.
• Monitors security operations tasks to ensure controls function as intended.
