Job summary

HTC Global Services seeks a Senior Security Architect with extensive IT and cybersecurity architecture experience to translate business capabilities into secure solution concepts, architecture models, technology strategies, and service structures.

You will lead enterprise security architecture, drive Zero Trust, support cloud/hybrid environments, and develop reusable patterns and an AI-enabled software delivery lifecycle.

Overview / Summary

We are seeking a Senior Security Architect with extensive IT and cybersecurity architecture experience to translate business capabilities into secure solution concepts, architecture models, technology strategies, and service structures.

The role focuses on enterprise security architecture, application solutions, information integration, architecture governance, modernization, and secure agentic AI capabilities. The successful candidate will provide architecture direction, establish reusable standards and patterns, and work with cross-functional business and IT stakeholders to drive secure, scalable, and resilient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Translate business capabilities into well-defined projects and programs with clear objectives and deliverables.

Lead enterprise security architecture that advances Zero Trust and translates cybersecurity risks and policies into practical controls for cloud, hybrid, and agentic AI environments.

Shape secure, scalable, and resilient application architectures that support modernization and agentic capabilities through reusable patterns, an AI-native software development lifecycle, and verified business outcomes.

Lead high-impact security designs covering identity, workload and API access, sensitive data, secure delivery, and operational resilience.

Help define an AI-native software delivery lifecycle that embeds security requirements, guardrails, and verification into engineering workflows.

Architect production agentic systems with scoped permissions, secure tool access, human oversight, evaluation, monitoring, and containment.

Translate security policies into reusable reference architectures, engineering patterns, and automated controls.

Use threat modeling and implementation evidence to identify material risks, guide remediation, and inform architecture decisions.

Visualize and communicate architecture concepts, principles, strategies, and models for programs, initiatives, and domains.

Facilitate architecture discussions with cross-functional business sponsors and product lines to ensure alignment.

Participate as a member or facilitator in relevant business and IT governance processes.

Ensure alignment between architecture projects, standards, related IT projects, and plans by working with appropriate IT and business management.

Develop recommendations to improve the business value of IT projects and plans.

Set direction and approve future-state architecture standards, guidelines, blueprints, and roadmaps across business functions.

Drive architecture-related research to further mature architecture standards, guidelines, blueprints, and roadmaps.

Direct and approve innovations and prototypes based on research and approve recommendations regarding architecture, tools, methodologies, and processes.

Facilitate architecture governance and ensure adherence to architecture standards.

Obtain buy-in for architecture standards, guidelines, blueprints, and roadmaps from appropriate business and IT leaders.

Promote the benefits and value of architecture and architecture management to business and IT senior management.

Provide guidance on strategy and planning in support of overall prioritization and portfolio planning.

Develop and align architectural models of current and proposed capabilities and solutions across the enterprise to support strategy, investment decisions, portfolio management, program and project management, solution and service design and development, and service management.

Drive information integration, information standards, and information management through capability and value analysis and assessment.

Deliver architecture artifacts covering business, information, data, process, solution, application, service, technology, and infrastructure architectures.

Set architecture and design direction for technologies, patterns, design principles, and development frameworks in cooperation with project management and system design and development teams.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in IT.

7+ years of experience in the relevant concentration.

Experience in cybersecurity and application solutions.

Experience leading enterprise security architecture and translating cyber risks and policies into practical controls.

Experience with secure, scalable, and resilient application architectures.

Experience with Zero Trust, cloud, hybrid environments, and agentic AI environments.

Experience with security architecture covering identity, workload and API access, sensitive data, secure delivery, and operational resilience.

Experience with threat modeling and implementation evidence to identify risks and guide remediation.

Experience developing reusable reference architectures, engineering patterns, and automated controls.

Experience with architecture governance, standards, guidelines, blueprints, and roadmaps.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: 4 days per week in the office for candidates living in Southeast Michigan.

Remote arrangements may be considered for candidates located elsewhere in the United States.
