Job summary

Liberty Bank - CT is seeking a senior Information Security Architect to design and oversee the bank's security architecture and practices, aligning with policies and regulatory requirements.

You will lead security controls across networks, systems, and cloud, conduct risk assessments, implement encryption, IAM, DLP, WAF, SIEM, and guide teams on secure development practices while coordinating with IT and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of networking, OS, cloud, and encryption.
• IAM, vulnerability management, threat modeling, DLP, and secure configuration.
• Familiarity with authentication, cryptography, and monitoring.
• Experience with risk frameworks and regulatory compliance.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/IT/CYBERSECURITY; 5–10+ years in IT/security roles.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop security architecture across networks, systems, apps, cloud, and data protection.
• Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling; support security testing and risk evaluation.
• Implement and integrate security solutions: firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, encryption, access controls, DLP, WAF, SIEM.
• Ensure security designs align with standards (NIST, ISO 27001, FFIEC) and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate technologies, research security gaps, and integrate security into SDLC/DevSecOps.
• Respond to incidents; lead initiatives to strengthen overall security.
• Collaborate with IT, developers, business stakeholders; provide security guidance.
