Job summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced security professional to join our team as a Senior Security Analyst. This position is critical to ensuring the protection of classified information, assets, and personnel while maintaining full compliance with government and corporate security regulations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in managing security programs, developing and implementing security policies, and ensuring the physical and operational security of classified facilities.

What You Will Do
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), DoD Manual 5205.07, NISPOM, and other applicable industrial and special program security guidance. Stay updated on changes to security regulations and policies to ensure continuous compliance.
  • Security Program Development: Develop, update, and administer security plans, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Operations Security (OPSEC) plans, and Concepts of Operations (CONOPs). Establish and maintain program-specific security documentation to meet government and organizational requirements.
  • Training and Awareness Programs: Create, deliver, and maintain security education, training, and awareness programs, including indoctrinations, annual refresher training, and debriefings for personnel. Promote a culture of security awareness across the organization.
  • Audits and Self-Inspections: Conduct internal self-inspections to assess security compliance. Identify deficiencies, develop corrective action plans, and ensure timely resolution. Perform peer reviews at other locations to support broader security compliance initiatives.
  • Government Compliance Inspections: Actively participate in government-directed compliance inspections, ensuring all required actions are completed. Coordinate and execute follow-up actions to address inspection findings or recommendations.
  • Administrative Security Functions: Manage program security administrative functions, including personnel security processing, visitor control, program investigations, and Top Secret accountability. Oversee alarm testing and ensure the secure dispatch, receipt, and tracking of classified documents and materials. Resolve security-related issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Physical Security Oversight: Oversee the physical security and construction requirements for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) and Special Access Program Facilities (SAPFs). Prepare and submit pre-construction and accreditation packages, Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs), and TEMPEST documentation in compliance with ICD 705 standards.
  • Other Security Duties: Perform additional security-related duties as required to support organizational objectives and mission success.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically to support security operations at other locations, conduct peer reviews, or participate in inspections.
Qualifications

You Must Have Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.

Experience with all Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Experience with any of the following: NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07, and ICD 705.

Qualifications We Prefer Experience in special program environments and understanding of government guidance to include the NISPOM and DoD 5205.07. Experience with SIMS, DISS, and JADE databases. Degree major in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study.

Possess a final TS/SCI security clearance with an investigation not older than 6 years on the first day of employment.

Related training, such as with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency, Center for Development of Security Excellence, including, Security Fundamentals Professional Certification.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
