Job summary

7AI is hiring a Security Analyst to join our Defender-focused team. The role involves validating AI-driven investigations, correlating data across cloud, network, and endpoint sources, and understanding the full scope of malicious activity that our Agents stop.

The position emphasizes customer-focused communication and incident response. You will hunt with AI Agents, triage alerts, and advise customers during incidents while collaborating with Engineering and Product to tune the platform.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in cyber security operations.
• Hands-on experience investigating alerts from multiple sources (endpoint, network, identity, cloud).
• Strong understanding of security monitoring tools (XDR, SIEM, IDS/IPS, IDP).
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and incident triage methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to verify AI-driven analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate investigations conducted by AI Agents for accuracy and risk.
• Correlate data from cloud, endpoint, identity, network sources to understand the full attack picture.
• Investigate malicious activity mitigated by AI Agents and assess prevented customer risk.
• Use AI Agents to hunt in customer environments and contribute to detections.
• Triage security alerts and assist customers during incidents to restore secure posture.
• Review logs and telemetry to proactively identify threats and anomalies.
• Engage with customers of varying technical depth with clear, effective communication.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to improve user experience and AI platform tuning.
• Stay current with cybersecurity trends and AI-driven attack techniques.
